Irma Dulmers Graduated Film- and Television Studies with focus on the New Latin American Cinema (NCL) for which she investigated the NCL at the film school EICTV in Cuba and wrote her thesis about it. After working for several film festivals she started in the 90's to programme the first Latin American Film Week in Rotterdam. Besides programming and selecting Latin films for the International Film Festival Rotterdam (IFFR) and the Latin American Film Festival Utrecht (LAFF) she took part in several juries of Latin film festivals, introduced films, gave master classes in different Latin American countries on film and worked in the (post-) production of some documentary films. Jessica de Jaeger Graduated Human Geography of Developing Countries with a focus on Latin America and a great passion for the moving image. Film as an art form to ‘show people hidden aspects of the world’ has been the driven force behind initiating the Latin American Film Festival (LAFF). For eight years she worked for the LAFF as an artistic and managing director. She is still programming and selecting Latin films and documentaries for Movies that Matter and did so for Docsonline.tv. The past few years she specialised in coaching and advising cultural entrepreneurs in how to develop and organise a new project, event or film. She does so for her own company www.como-no.nl and the Mediafonds amongst others. Core activities for Oficine: selection, programming, producing, moderating and advising. |

Janneke van Laar Educated in film history and film analysis, and with a strong preference for underground film. Graduated on non-Western film and its role within the worldwide film festival network, with a focus on Latin American cinema. Has worked for several year for the Latin American Film Festival (LAFF) as assistant-programmer. Initiator of the travelling cinema event Opgedoekt. Core activities for Oficine: production, communication, coordination.
